Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • A contribuição é original e inédita, e não está sendo avaliada para publicação por outra revista; caso contrário, deve-se justificar em "Comentários ao editor".
  • O arquivo da submissão está em formato Microsoft Word, OpenOffice ou RTF.
  • Onde disponível, os URLs para as referências foram fornecidos.
  • O texto está em espaço simples; usa uma fonte de 12-pontos; emprega itálico em vez de sublinhado (exceto em endereços URL); as figuras e tabelas estão inseridas no texto, não no final do documento na forma de anexos.
  • O texto segue os padrões de estilo e requisitos bibliográficos descritos em Diretrizes para Autores, na página Sobre a Revista.
  • Ao submeter o artigo, o autor principal declara que todos os coautores listados estão cientes e concordam com a submissão. O descumprimento dessa regra poderá acarretar na imediata rejeição do manuscrito e possível bloqueio de submissões futuras.A inclusão de nomes de autores sem o devido consentimento constitui uma violação ética grave, podendo resultar no encerramento do processo de avaliação e na rejeição do manuscrito. A Revista Igapó adota as diretrizes do Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) e do International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) para assegurar a integridade e a ética na publicação científica.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check their submission's compliance with all the items listed below. Submissions that do not adhere to these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

  • The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not currently being evaluated for publication by any other journal; otherwise, justification must be provided in the "Comments to the Editor" section.
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word or OpenOffice format.
  • URLs for the references have been provided where possible.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics instead of underlining (except with URL addresses); and figures and tables are inserted within the text, not at the end of the document as appendices.
  • The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements mandated by the journal.
  • In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g., articles), the instructions for "double-blind peer review" have been strictly followed.

Authors Who Publish in This Journal Agree to the Following Terms:

 

  • Copyright and First Publication Right: Authors retain the copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution Licence (CC-BY), which permits the sharing of the work with proper acknowledgement of its authorship and initial publication in this journal.

  • Non-Exclusive Distribution: Authors may enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work, with an acknowledgement of its authorship and initial publication in this journal.

  • Self-Archiving and Dissemination: Authors are permitted and encouraged to post and distribute their work on digital platforms at any point before or during the editorial process, as this can lead to productive exchanges and increase the impact and citation of the published work.
