Editorial Code of Conduct
The editors of the Igapó journal adopt measures to identify and prevent the publication of articles in which plagiarism or unethical conduct has been verified. Should such practices be confirmed, the articles will not proceed to evaluation and the authors will be duly notified. Should published texts be identified as containing unethical conduct at any point, the journal reserves the right to withdraw the article or issue a correction, in addition to publishing necessary clarifications and retractions. The Igapó journal adheres to the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and the guidelines for integrity in scientific activity from the CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development).
